After a defensive mix-up in OGUZ SPOR's zone, Naci Otaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kadri Işık came out of the goal and Naci Otaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of OGUZ SPOR booed when Yayladere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedrettin Hüsrev didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Güntekin Keçili fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OGUZ SPOR's protests and gave Güntekin Keçili a yellow card for diving instead. Kuddusî Uçur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. The Yayladere supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching OGUZ SPOR's performance. The match ended with a win for OGUZ SPOR.
