An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercüment Umuralp in the 5th minute of play forced GAZİANTEP's goalkeeper Tuna Tokcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Cüneyt Akçakan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hayati Eraltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Tokcan having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Sait Tarkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes Hassa got a freekick which was hit by Ercüment Umuralp. Hayati Eraltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Tokcan having to interfere. After some careless play in the GAZİANTEP defense, Sait Tarkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuna Tokcan. The GAZİANTEP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuna Tokcan should have stopped the shot. When Hassa's Hayati Eraltay in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GAZİANTEP's goalie prevented a goal. GAZİANTEP's Tuna Tokcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayati Eraltay in the 22nd minute of play. Işık Tenzil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuna Tokcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercüment Umuralp in the 26th minute of play. Sait Tarkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st match minute, GAZİANTEP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şeray Aktürk to maneuver through the defense. Tuna Tokcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işık Tenzil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the GAZİANTEP defense, Sait Tarkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuna Tokcan. The GAZİANTEP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuna Tokcan should have stopped the shot. Sait Tarkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Onur Orbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sait Tarkan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Ercüment Umuralp hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Hassa's Sait Tarkan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Hassa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özmen Sarbay to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the GAZİANTEP defense, Sait Tarkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuna Tokcan. The GAZİANTEP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuna Tokcan should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Hassa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyhun Ilıca to maneuver through the defense. Işık Tenzil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Tuna Tokcan made a huge save. In the 74th minute Ercüment Umuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuna Tokcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Özmen Sarbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ercüment Umuralp came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hassa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercüment Umuralp couldn't finish the play. Sait Tarkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, one of GAZİANTEP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GAZİANTEP. In the 88th minute, Hassa got a penalty, and Sait Tarkan placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Hayati Eraltay did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Tuna Tokcan 94 minutes into the match. The GAZİANTEP fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hassa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
