An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Sebih in the 16th minute of play forced Gaziantep SK's goalkeeper Mevlüt Tanyeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Muzaffer Kutcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Muzaffer Kutcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şentürk Hancı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Sebih in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mevlüt Tanyeri saved Gaziantep SK from getting behind. In the 24th minute Gürsel Vehbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mevlüt Tanyeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the game, Devlet Ünsan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciftehavuzlar JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaziantep SK the free kick. In the 48th minute, one of Ciftehavuzlar JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ciftehavuzlar JK. Aydın Şerif placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Baha Hatip hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Hasan Sebih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mevlüt Tanyeri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bünyamin Urza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Şentürk Hancı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Bünyamin Urza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciftehavuzlar JK's Şentürk Hancı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bünyamin Urza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Gürsel Vehbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hasan Sebih struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mevlüt Tanyeri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciftehavuzlar JK. In the 87th minute, Abdulhamit Muhlis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Ciftehavuzlar JK's Ali Hamza Yaşanur broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürsel Vehbi got free with Mevlüt Tanyeri in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hasan Sebih fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciftehavuzlar JK's protests and gave Hasan Sebih a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gaziantep SK booed when Ciftehavuzlar JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Sebih didn't get a good kick on the ball.
