Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) KAHRAMANMARAŞ's Fikri Ulucağ started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Türek hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Rasim Asker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batur Uluğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Bayazid, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes Cesme got a freekick which was hit by Sungur Özata. Fikri Ulucağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batur Uluğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türkeş Uran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Toli in the 25th minute of play forced Cesme's goalkeeper Batur Uluğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cesme's goal looked a bit too open when Fikri Ulucağ came free, but Batur Uluğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yusuf Ziya Tunçkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aytunç Özsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Yusuf Ziya Tunçkan was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Haşmet Özdilmaç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haşmet Özdilmaç really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cesme's zone, İldeniz Bayazid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batur Uluğ came out of the goal and İldeniz Bayazid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Türek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fikri Ulucağ's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batur Uluğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Fikri Ulucağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Uluğ having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Haşmet Özdilmaç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cesme and the KAHRAMANMARAŞ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cesme's Haşmet Özdilmaç got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aytunç Özsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Fikri Ulucağ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to KAHRAMANMARAŞ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mehmet Türek hit a great ball. If Fikri Ulucağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayrettin Onbulak's late challenge caught a KAHRAMANMARAŞ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrettin Onbulak helped the player get up and apologised. Hayrettin Onbulak kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, İldeniz Bayazid fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cesme's Batur Uluğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Uran in the 65th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Türkeş Uran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. İldeniz Bayazid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Batur Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Fikri Ulucağ rounded Cesme's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After 77 minutes, Ali Emir Gezer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cesme and the KAHRAMANMARAŞ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Ali Emir Gezer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fikri Ulucağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Batur Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Fikri Ulucağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Uluğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ignacio Toli came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KAHRAMANMARAŞ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Toli couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, KAHRAMANMARAŞ's Türkeş Uran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Batur Uluğ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, KAHRAMANMARAŞ's Fikri Ulucağ dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. If Fikri Ulucağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KAHRAMANMARAŞ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
