After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Tayfur Tüzeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eyüpspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Tayfur Tüzeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fetih Vahapoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Lice JK booed when Eyüpspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yunus Bozyiğit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gazi Yeler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fetih Vahapoğlu in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute Ahmet Fikret Tun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Yeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhun Özsel charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erhun Özsel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lice JK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Erhun Özsel hit a great ball. If Tayfur Tüzeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayfur Tüzeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. İrfan Kalgay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Fikret Tun to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Birkan Uruç from a close distance when the talented İrfan Kalgay managed to make a qualified save. Lice JK's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayfur Tüzeman in the 54th minute of play forced Lice JK's goalkeeper İrfan Kalgay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fetih Vahapoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gazi Yeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fetih Vahapoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tayfur Tüzeman came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Eyüpspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayfur Tüzeman couldn't finish the play. Lice JK's İrfan Kalgay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Lice JK from getting a goal against them. Birkan Uruçs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got İrfan Kalgay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. İrfan Kalgay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayfur Tüzeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İrfan Kalgay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayfur Tüzeman in the 68th minute of play. Fetih Vahapoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gazi Yeler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Eyüpspor got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Bozyiğit. Fetih Vahapoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fetih Vahapoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lice JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fetih Vahapoğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 80th match minute, Lice JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mümin Hataylı to maneuver through the defense. İrfan Kalgay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayfur Tüzeman in the 81st minute of play. When Tolga Kapsam fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lice JK's protests and gave Tolga Kapsam a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the game, one of Lice JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rıfat Birdal shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Birkan Uruç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İrfan Kalgay was a little too slow when Tayfur Tüzeman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Lice JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
