Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kerimhan Rıfat started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Kerimhan Rıfat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atak Ziya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hayrat's Mustafa İzzet Sağan got a free kick in the 5th minute. Şerafettin Zekeriya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Tanju Afşaroğlu made a huge save. Şerafettin Zekeriya hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With his leg Tanju Afşaroğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Akcakoca's Şerafettin Zekeriya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Akcakoca's zone, Hızır Gazzali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atak Ziya came out of the goal and Hızır Gazzali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atak Ziya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batu Hafızoğlu in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Demiralp Başsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akcakoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demiralp Başsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Akcakoca booed when Hayrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kılıçhan Cespan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Akcakoca's Tanju Afşaroğlu threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Demiralp Başsoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Şerafettin Zekeriya took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanju Afşaroğlu. Tanju Afşaroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Şerafettin Zekeriya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demiralp Başsoy in the 42nd minute of play forced Hayrat's goalkeeper Tanju Afşaroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Hayrat's goal looked a bit too open when Demiralp Başsoy came free, but Tanju Afşaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demiralp Başsoy made a kick off. Akcakoca's Şerafettin Zekeriya got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haldun Togan charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haldun Togan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Atak Ziya, was totally fooled by Hayrat's Necip Çelebi, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 64 minutes into the match, Kerimhan Rıfat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atak Ziya, 1-2. Kılıçhan Cespan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Kerimhan Rıfat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hayrat's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerimhan Rıfat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atak Ziya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Şerafettin Zekeriya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Hayrat getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hızır Gazzali hit a great ball. Demiralp Başsoy got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tanju Afşaroğlu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Kerimhan Rıfat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atak Ziya having to interfere. Tanju Afşaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şerafettin Zekeriya, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Demiralp Başsoy sped through Hayrat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tanju Afşaroğlu. Hayrat's Tanju Afşaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demiralp Başsoy in the 88th minute of play. Tanju Afşaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerafettin Zekeriya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batu Hafızoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atak Ziya having to make a save. The Hayrat players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Akcakoca from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
