After 3 minutes of play, Akcakoca's Demiralp Başsoy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aykan Yavuzer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atak Ziya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfi Arıkan in the 18th minute of the match. Aykan Yavuzer came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Akcakoca's Demiralp Başsoy. But to his dismay, Demiralp Başsoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Lütfullah Okyanus fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GaLaTaSaRaY's protests and gave Lütfullah Okyanus a yellow card for diving instead. 25 minutes into the game, one of GaLaTaSaRaY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yiğitcan Akkan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Seyfi Arıkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şerafettin Zekeriya hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Aykan Yavuzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demiralp Başsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41stth minute of the game Şerafettin Zekeriya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GaLaTaSaRaY's Aykan Yavuzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demiralp Başsoy struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aykan Yavuzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Akcakoca. If Seyfi Arıkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demiralp Başsoy made a kick off. Şerafettin Zekeriya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aykan Yavuzer made a huge save. 55 minutes into the game, one of GaLaTaSaRaY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Akcakoca a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yiğitcan Akkan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GaLaTaSaRaY's Aykan Yavuzer. 0-3. Çağlar Adanır charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çağlar Adanır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Akcakoca defense, Seyfi Arıkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atak Ziya. The Akcakoca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atak Ziya should have stopped the shot. Haydar Özalpsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aykan Yavuzer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Akcakoca's Demiralp Başsoy shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 72nd match minute, Akcakoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfi Yalavaç to maneuver through the defense. Aykan Yavuzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demiralp Başsoy in the 75th minute of the match. Demiralp Başsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aykan Yavuzer having to make a save. Aykan Yavuzer made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Şerafettin Zekeriya sent off a good shot on target. Demiralp Başsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aykan Yavuzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Akcakoca getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dorukhan Uçkun hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY's Çağlar Adanır broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aykan Yavuzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demiralp Başsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. GaLaTaSaRaY's Aykan Yavuzer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save GaLaTaSaRaY from getting a goal against them. The GaLaTaSaRaY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Akcakoca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
