Göktuğ Hatemoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Gökçek Altın charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökçek Altın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Köycegiz got a freekick which was hit by Gökçek Altın. After a rather tough play, Köycegiz's Şeref İsfendiyar got a free kick in the 5th minute. Köycegiz's Ender Yener proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Köycegiz from getting a goal against them. Artova's Rüknettin Erdemalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökçek Altın in the 15th minute of play. Mehmet Emrah Akkurt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ender Yener skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fazıl Akbilge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Yener having to interfere. Rüknettin Erdemalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Altın in the 26th minute of play. Mehmet Emrah Akkurt kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Artova's Mehmet Emrah Akkurt in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Köycegiz's goalie prevented a goal. After 33 played minutes Köycegiz got a freekick which was hit by Ruhi Sözmen. In the 35th match minute, Köycegiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahit Kutun to maneuver through the defense. Şakir Keçeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ender Yener. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şakir Keçeli ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Emrah Akkurt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ender Yener was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Mehmet Emrah Akkurt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ender Yener firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Mehmet Emrah Akkurt put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ender Yener. When Marco Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artova's protests and gave Marco Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Artova got a freekick which was hit by Marco Mendes. 45 minutes into the match, Köycegiz's Gökçek Altın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rüknettin Erdemalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rüknettin Erdemalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gökçek Altın's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökçek Altın to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Aytek Soyselçuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytek Soyselçuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ender Yener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fazıl Akbilge in the 62nd minute of play. Ender Yener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Emrah Akkurt in the 65th minute of the match. Mehmet Emrah Akkurt might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ender Yener. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Emrah Akkurt ran back to his position shaking his head. Ender Yener came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Artova's Aytek Soyselçuk. But to his dismay, Aytek Soyselçuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Göktuğ Hatemoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Gökçek Altın tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rüknettin Erdemalp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 84thth minute of the game Mehmet Emrah Akkurt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köycegiz's Ender Yener was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Akbilge in the 86th minute of play forced Köycegiz's goalkeeper Ender Yener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuna Arıtan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Rüknettin Erdemalp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Mehmet Emrah Akkurt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ender Yener was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Emrah Akkurt in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ender Yener saved Köycegiz from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Köycegiz's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Emrah Akkurt came free, but Ender Yener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artova's Şakir Keçeli got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Emrah Akkurt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Yener having to interfere. There was no doubt that Artova were the better team. Artova's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
