After a defensive mix-up in YozgatSpor's zone, Birdal Saim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kadri İsmihan came out of the goal and Birdal Saim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muhsin Kabataş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arho Sinisalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to YozgatSpor getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Erhun Tunçaslan hit a great ball.

In the 52nd minute, Kutluay Ruknettin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Alişan in the 53rd minute of play forced YozgatSpor's goalkeeper Kadri İsmihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 54th minute of the match Kutluay Ruknettin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kutluay Ruknettin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. YozgatSpor's Kadri İsmihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Alişan in the 59th minute of play. The referee showed Bulut Olcay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
