Devran Okcun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sarp Erdönmez. Sariyerspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Recep Yavuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sariyerspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caycuma JK the free kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duman Asır made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sariyerspor's zone, Ferhan Şenbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarp Erdönmez came out of the goal and Ferhan Şenbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarp Erdönmez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duman Asır, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Caycuma JK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
