Aslan FC's Güngör Öz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Aslan FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Aslan FC's zone, Rıdvan Kızılaslan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güngör Öz came out of the goal and Rıdvan Kızılaslan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Serbülent Başayoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aslan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hacilar JK the free kick. Rıdvan Kızılaslan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Güngör Öz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hacilar JK. Batıray Berksan came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Güngör Öz could save by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rıdvan Kızılaslan to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rıdvan Kızılaslan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hacilar JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıdvan Kızılaslan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güngör Öz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güngör Öz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batıray Berksan's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute.
