Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zekai Türegün started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Hakkı Kenan Türker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemal Kızıl kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Ilic's Ahmet Korcan Hicab sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hakkı Deniz Aymaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdulhamit Salur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alkın Bilen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hakkı Deniz Aymaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Zekai Türegün came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ilic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zekai Türegün couldn't finish the play. Ilic's Zekai Türegün got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Cubuk JK's goalkeeper Hakkı Deniz Aymaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alkın Bilen.
