In the 16thth minute of the game Mustafa Ali Saygur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskisehir's Mustafa Emrah Avcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Eskisehir's Erkan İlenç got a free kick in the 17th minute. Behzat Baturalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Emrah Avcu having to interfere. Mustafa Emrah Avcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Ali Saygur in the 24th minute of play. Eskisehir's Mustafa Emrah Avcu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Eskisehir from getting a goal against them. Behzat Baturalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Mustafa Ali Saygur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iydere JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mustafa Ali Saygur struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mustafa Emrah Avcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iydere JK. In the 38th minute, Behzat Baturalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iydere JK's Berker Rıza Tekinel got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kıvanç Tunalı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasım Tüzüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Onur Ali Gündüz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eskisehir and the Iydere JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Onur Ali Gündüz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Mustafa Ali Saygur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Emrah Avcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Iydere JK's Kıvanç Tunalı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Iydere JK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Baturalp in the 64th minute of play forced Eskisehir's goalkeeper Mustafa Emrah Avcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, İlhami Bostancıoğlu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kıvanç Tunalı, passed just outside the right post. A hard shot 70 in the game by Kasım Tüzüner from a close distance when the talented Kıvanç Tunalı managed to make a qualified save. Iydere JK's players were relieved.
