The audience thought a goal was coming when Eren Dirican got free with Atıf Demirtaş in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, Özbek Denizhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarköy JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dörtyolagizi JK the free kick. After 21 played minutes Dörtyolagizi JK got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Reha. 22 minutes into the game, Sarköy JK's Aktuğ Tanbey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fetih Aktaşlı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Sarköy JK booed when Dörtyolagizi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencalp Tuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtyolagizi JK's zone, Aktuğ Tanbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fetih Aktaşlı came out of the goal and Aktuğ Tanbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fatih Arslan charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fatih Arslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Sarköy JK's Dorukhan Bakkalbaşı tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karadeniz Batıkan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Fetih Aktaşlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktuğ Tanbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Atıf Demirtaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdurrahman Saruhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Sarköy JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karadeniz Batıkan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mehmet Hamdi Kalhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarköy JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Hamdi Kalhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fetih Aktaşlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdurrahman Saruhan made a kick off.
