Ali Baran Hisar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Atalay İsmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match Yahya Kemal Hanönü shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atalay İsmet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eray Özkutsal in the 22nd minute of play forced Özalp's goalkeeper Atalay İsmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Özalp booed when Cinarcik JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Baran Hisar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oğuzer Kutalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Doğan Taylak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Özalp's goalkeeper Atalay İsmet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Baran Hisar during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Oğuzer Kutalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doğan Taylak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Kuthan in the 35th minute of play. Doğan Taylak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cafer Nasrullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Korcan Orak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Özalp defense, Eray Özkutsal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atalay İsmet. The Özalp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atalay İsmet should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Cinarcik JK's Doğan Taylak got control of the ball when Oğuzer Kutalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Cafer Nasrullah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
