Aziz Yıldırım's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faik Hatim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Aziz Yıldırım fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lefter Tümkut should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Eskihisar got a freekick which was hit by Semavi Aktaşlıoğlu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faik Hatim to make the kick off. In the 78th minute Tommie Van den Brul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semavi Direm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
