An unexpectedly hard shot by Şaban Aytekin in the 5th minute of play forced Chicago's goalkeeper Tanju Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Chicago's Kaptan Özger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercüment İdrisoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karhan Hallaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment İdrisoğlu having to interfere. Binali Cihansah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chicago's Tanju Nesil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binali Cihansah in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Oğuzalp Kutay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sürüc SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chicago the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sürüc SK's Oğuzalp Kutay got a free kick in the 16th minute. Sürüc SK's Ercüment İdrisoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sürüc SK from getting a goal against them. Şaban Aytekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanju Nesil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şaban Aytekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Şaban Aytekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Nesil having to interfere. Chicago's Tanju Nesil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binali Cihansah in the 26th minute of play. Kaptan Özger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ercüment İdrisoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sürüc SK's Ercüment İdrisoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karhan Hallaç in the 30th minute of play. Paşa Tuney kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şaban Aytekin in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanju Nesil saved Chicago from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binali Cihansah in the 33rd minute of play forced Chicago's goalkeeper Tanju Nesil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanju Nesil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binali Cihansah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Binali Cihansah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanju Nesil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oğuzalp Kutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanju Nesil having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Binali Cihansah struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tanju Nesil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sürüc SK. Acar Karabugra kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Şaban Aytekin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tanju Nesil, passed just outside the right post. If Kaptan Özger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karhan Hallaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment İdrisoğlu having to interfere. Özkan Arıkan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Yenal Balyemez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Karhan Hallaç made a precise shot to the right of Ercüment İdrisoğlu. Sürüc SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 82nd minute, Melih Cevdet Nursal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sürüc SK's goalkeeper Ercüment İdrisoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sürüc SK's Melih Cevdet Nursal got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Sürüc SK's Binali Cihansah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanju Nesil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chicago fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sürüc SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
