Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıray Ünsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bahcelievler's zone, Haldun Aurelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan came out of the goal and Haldun Aurelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Bahcelievler's Latif Erdem to fire away a dangerous shot which İshak Eskicioğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bahcelievler's Güneri Başar got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıray Ünsan in the 27th minute of play forced Bahcelievler's goalkeeper Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Meram SK booed when Bahcelievler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsrev Ergökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bahcelievler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Haldun Aurelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Batıray Ünsan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan, 1-3. Hakan Ünüvar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İshak Eskicioğlu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meram SK's Oktay Toktaş got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Kadim Zeynur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but İshak Eskicioğlu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Güneri Başar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Kadim Zeynur put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of İshak Eskicioğlu. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
