Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şahin Sami started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute İlhan Taif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atak Ayalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Karatay got a freekick which was hit by Adnan Tunay. Suhut were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Karatay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samir Koçarslanoğlu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Karatay's goalie and right to Orkun Ruşen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Karatay's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 21st minute Ali Kürşat Çelikkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kahraman Otaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şahin Sami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Şahin Sami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kahraman Otaç was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 34th match minute, Suhut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karadeniz Karanalp to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Suhut booed when Karatay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cüneyd Cömert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İlhan Taif was the one to do the kick off. Karatay's İlhan Taif got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match, Şahin Sami tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kahraman Otaç saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ali Kürşat Çelikkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Karatay's goalkeeper Kahraman Otaç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Kürşat Çelikkan. 65 minutes into the match, Karatay's goal looked a bit too open when Şahin Sami came free, but Kahraman Otaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atak Ayalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İlhan Taif went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Karatay's Kahraman Otaç got control of the ball when Ali Kürşat Çelikkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şahin Sami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kahraman Otaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suhut's Atak Ayalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhan Taif in the 93rd minute of play.
