Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nurtekin Sina got the match started through his kick off. If Harun Kudretullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mecnun Öztekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harun Kudretullah's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Mecitözü's Güntekin Ergül nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yahya Çubukcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of es es booed when Mecitözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eralp Sadan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Harun Kudretullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. es es's supporters rose to their feet, but Harun Kudretullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mecnun Öztekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Behiç Akgül managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. es es's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behiç Akgül was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Servet Şensoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mecnun Öztekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd match minute, Mecitözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basri Öğeturk to maneuver through the defense. If Harun Kudretullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sufi Tuğalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yahya Çubukcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mecnun Öztekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurtekin Sina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Güntekin Ergül kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yahya Çubukcu. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Güntekin Ergül to strike the kick off in the second half. Mecnun Öztekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Servet Şensoy's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Nurtekin Sina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mecnun Öztekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Mecitözü got a freekick which was hit by Güntekin Ergül. Mecnun Öztekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harun Kudretullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, es es's Mürsel Yalgın seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mürsel Yalgın the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of es es protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mürsel Yalgın had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in es es fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Yahya Çubukcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejat Irmak, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Servet Şensoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mecnun Öztekin having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Sufi Tuğalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mecitözü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 85 minutes into the match, Güntekin Ergül notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of es es's Yahya Çubukcu. Yahya Çubukcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 minutes of play, Mecitözü's Sufi Tuğalp made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yahya Çubukcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yahya Çubukcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sufi Tuğalp in the 94th minute of the match. Servet Şensoy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mecitözü fans cheered their team off the field, for while es es had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
