An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Özdoa in the 17th minute of play forced Icerenköy's goalkeeper Kutluay Darcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play Icerenköy's Sercan Mirza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th minute, Sercan Mirza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolga Özdoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolga Özdoa to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Ahmet Emir İpekli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Baykal Serimer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Icerenköy's Peker Erboy got a free kick in the 60th minute. Tolga Özdoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutluay Darcan having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Peker Erboy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baykal Serimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Emir İpekli in the 67th minute of play. Talip Nesip could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kutluay Darcan made a huge save. After having played for 77 minutes, Tolga Özdoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merzifon FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Özdoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ahmet Emir İpekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Icerenköy's Ahmet Emir İpekli got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Merzifon FK's Onur Ali Ungur got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Utkan Taha came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Icerenköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Utkan Taha couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Talip Nesip got free with Kutluay Darcan in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peker Erboy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Baykal Serimer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Tolga Özdoa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kutluay Darcan, 2-1. When Tolga Özdoa fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merzifon FK's protests and gave Tolga Özdoa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Merzifon FK getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Tolga Özdoa hit a great ball.
