Aybars Ulum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Cezmi Bucuk made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burhan Özkutlu was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Hayri Honazlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi Bucuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Hayri Honazlı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cezmi Bucuk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Hayri Honazlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aybars Ulum scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cezmi Bucuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
