In the 4th minute, Tuncer Rafi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tansel Gökyüzü was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute Dilaver Kılıçer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Utkan İslamoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Utkan İslamoğlu was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Ali Cengiz Özdeğer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ali Cengiz Özdeğer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 14 minutes, İnanç Eski made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Etiler's Utkan İslamoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tuncer Rafi got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tansel Gökyüzü handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Ali Cengiz Özdeğer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gulu Gulu FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Etiler the free kick. After 21 played minutes Gulu Gulu FK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cengiz Özdeğer. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ahmet Tolga Tülün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Etiler's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Tolga Tülün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tansel Gökyüzü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ahmet Tolga Tülün sped through Gulu Gulu FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tansel Gökyüzü. Tansel Gökyüzü came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Etiler's Tuncer Rafi. But to his dismay, Tuncer Rafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The supporters of Etiler booed when Gulu Gulu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şaban Mevlit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dilaver Kılıçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utkan İslamoğlu having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Etiler's Ahmet Tolga Tülün sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tansel Gökyüzü narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Tuncer Rafi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tansel Gökyüzü was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Tuncer Rafi put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Tansel Gökyüzü.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuncer Rafi to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Etiler getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. İlhami Okutman hit a great ball. Ahmet Nafiz Özilter made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Etiler's Ömür Aysan. Gulu Gulu FK's Ali Cengiz Özdeğer got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Ali Cengiz Özdeğer off the ground. In the 60th minute, Ali Cengiz Özdeğer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Tolga Tülün scored 2-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tansel Gökyüzü, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Dilaver Kılıçer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gulu Gulu FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. After a defensive mix-up in Gulu Gulu FK's zone, Tuncer Rafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tansel Gökyüzü came out of the goal and Tuncer Rafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Tuncer Rafi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 87 played minutes Gulu Gulu FK got a freekick which was hit by Dilaver Kılıçer. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Etiler walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
