In the 22nd match minute, Yenicaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Orhan Akpolat to maneuver through the defense. When Ahmet Orhan Akpolat fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yenicaga's protests and gave Ahmet Orhan Akpolat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Ahmet Orhan Akpolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezmi Özdil struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Hüsmen Kayral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gercüs JK. Hüsmen Kayral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Galip Şems showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Çakır Devlettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zülfikar Baler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Veli Türkol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yenicaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veli Türkol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Murat Selim Nasreddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes, Gercüs JK's Refik Nursal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hüsmen Kayral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gercüs JK reached it. Hüsmen Kayral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cezmi Özdil went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Murat Selim Nasreddin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Ali Galip Şems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 67th minute of the match Ahmet Orhan Akpolat completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet Orhan Akpolat a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cezmi Özdil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsmen Kayral having to interfere. Gercüs JK's Zülfikar Baler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Gercüs JK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Yenicaga booed when Gercüs JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke Erel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yenicaga's Çakır Devlettin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
