After 17 played minutes Eskisehir got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Andaç. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kamil Tanaltan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamak's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamil Tanaltan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarp Benlioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mamak's Mustafa Kemal Sarısaltuk pulled a muscle in his leg after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bedirhan Koçaslan's late challenge caught a Mamak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After the first half Mamak were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
