In the 17th minute, Halit Fahri Menderes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Cevdet Kulan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahcesehir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cevdet Kulan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Bahcesehir got a freekick which was hit by Cevdet Kulan. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Anastasio Toro put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Feyzullay Şahinter. After a defensive mix-up in Başakşehir's zone, Cevdet Kulan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feyzullay Şahinter came out of the goal and Cevdet Kulan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Toro took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feyzullay Şahinter. Feyzullay Şahinter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Başakşehir's zone, Anastasio Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feyzullay Şahinter came out of the goal and Anastasio Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bahcesehir's Vahap Buğrahan got control of the ball when Paşa Engiay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Erkut Ergüner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Başakşehir's Feyzullay Şahinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Toro in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cevdet Kulan was the one to do the kick off. Feyzullay Şahinter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cevdet Kulan in the 52nd minute. If Cevdet Kulan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halit Ziya Türkoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Erkut Ergüner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Cevdet Kulan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feyzullay Şahinter. That made the score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Toro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feyzullay Şahinter saved Başakşehir from getting behind. Cevdet Kulan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyzullay Şahinter having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Anastasio Toro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feyzullay Şahinter. That made the score 1-5 in the 88 minute of play. When the match was over Bahcesehir could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Başakşehir throughout the match.
