Hadi Eryilmaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Nasir Şükrü. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hadi Eryilmaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuratay Tekinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baysal Nebahattin in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mustafa Mete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hadi Eryilmaz made a kick off. Şaban Şiraz got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 57 minutes into the game, İskender Baki Kirmanşah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karayazi SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giresun Spor the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Karayazi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İskender Baki Kirmanşah to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Cem Zorbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute.
