The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eray Secaat helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Gündüz Tüzel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Şükrü Türk. Gündüz Tüzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şükrü Türk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gündüz Tüzel ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Oruk in the 9th minute of play forced Harbiye's goalkeeper Şükrü Türk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şükrü Türk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Nafiz Oruk in the 13th minute of the match. When Ahmet Nafiz Oruk came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the ERDEM F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Nafiz Oruk couldn't finish the play. Gündüz Tüzel scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şükrü Türk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nafiz Oruk in the 25th minute of play forced Harbiye's goalkeeper Şükrü Türk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Harbiye's Kemal Direm got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Gündüz Tüzel made a precise shot to the right of Şükrü Türk. Harbiye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 36 minutes into the game, Gündüz Tüzel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Şükrü Türk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Şükrü Türk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gündüz Tüzel in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nafiz Oruk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şükrü Türk. Harbiye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Nafiz Oruk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

53 minutes into the game, Zülfü Geylanlar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Işık Beyzade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harbiye's Süreyya Zübeyir suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. Yavuz Selimhan Yolaç's late challenge caught a Harbiye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Harbiye getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Berker Rıza Haneci hit a great ball. Zülfü Geylanlar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işık Beyzade having to interfere. Ahmet Nafiz Oruk struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Şükrü Türk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ERDEM F.C.. Şükrü Türk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gündüz Tüzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Harbiye's Eray Secaat got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Harbiye got a freekick which was hit by Berker Rıza Haneci. If Gündüz Tüzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Nafiz Oruk struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Şükrü Türk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ERDEM F.C.. After having played for 97 minutes, Ahmet Nafiz Oruk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ERDEM F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nafiz Oruk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ERDEM F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
