Tahir Talik might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Necdet Öksal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 70 minutes, Tahir Talik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahir Talik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Tahir Talik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necdet Öksal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tahir Talik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Öksal having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the game, Jari Baltesen landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Batıray Tamkoç charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batıray Tamkoç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kazan's Batıray Tamkoç got a free kick in the 84th minute. Necdet Öksal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansu Yalazan in the 86th minute of the match. Candir's Necat Saner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Bozoğluer in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Osman Nuri Bozoğluer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kazan's supporters rose to their feet, but Osman Nuri Bozoğluer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
