Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arda Baltacı took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ramazan Usta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Chayo Moya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramazan Usta in the 4th minute of play forced 24 Erzincanspor's goalkeeper Chayo Moya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maltepe's Boran Atay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faik Nejat in the 8th minute of play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ramazan Usta sped through 24 Erzincanspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chayo Moya. In the 22nd minute Arda Baltacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boran Atay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azim Cumhur's late challenge caught a 24 Erzincanspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azim Cumhur helped the player get up and apologised. Azim Cumhur kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Chayo Moya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azim Cumhur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demiralp Sonat got free with Chayo Moya in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Maltepe booed when 24 Erzincanspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reha Altıncığlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yiğit Uruz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes 24 Erzincanspor got a freekick which was hit by Avni Erez. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramazan Usta to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demiralp Sonat during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Demiralp Sonat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chayo Moya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramazan Usta, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Chayo Moya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demiralp Sonat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arda Baltacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azim Cumhur got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 70 played minutes Maltepe got a freekick which was hit by Azim Cumhur. After 81st play minutes Demiralp Sonat shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Chayo Moya and just under the crossbar into goal. Chayo Moya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demiralp Sonat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chayo Moya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramazan Usta in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maltepe's zone, Arda Baltacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boran Atay came out of the goal and Arda Baltacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maltepe fans cheered their team off the field, for while 24 Erzincanspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
