Anıl Arda Baykutay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dursun Ali Akasma in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Dursun Ali Akasma notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Galatasaray sk's Anıl Arda Baykutay. Anıl Arda Baykutay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dursun Ali Akasma made the kick off in the second half. Fikret Sabuncu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray sk's zone, Dursun Ali Akasma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With his leg Anıl Arda Baykutay managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Egirdir FK's Hakkı Kenan Umay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Galatasaray sk's Anıl Arda Baykutay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Akasma in the 61st minute of play. Hakkı Kenan Umay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Anıl Arda Baykutay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Dursun Ali Akasma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fikret Sabuncu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Egirdir FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Sabuncu couldn't finish the play.
