Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kubat Sarper started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Kubat Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybars Doğanlar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kubat Sarper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Necmi Ülkü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Baybars Doğanlar made a huge save. Baybars Doğanlar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kubat Sarper in the 10th minute of play. When Kubat Sarper came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Beyazit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kubat Sarper couldn't finish the play. If İlyas Tolga Yekta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray FC's zone, Necmi Ülkü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baybars Doğanlar came out of the goal and Necmi Ülkü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kubat Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Kubat Sarper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baybars Doğanlar was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Beyazit's Aytuğ Yesar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlyas Tolga Yekta in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Beyazit's zone, Tibet Enfa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytuğ Yesar came out of the goal and Tibet Enfa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İlyas Tolga Yekta struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Aytuğ Yesar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray FC. If Tibet Enfa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İlyas Tolga Yekta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytuğ Yesar having to interfere. When Münir İdris came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Galatasaray FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Münir İdris couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İlyas Tolga Yekta was the one to do the kick off. Baybars Doğanlar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Behiç İlteber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necmi Ülkü struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Baybars Doğanlar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beyazit. Galatasaray FC's Baybars Doğanlar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kubat Sarper in the 58th minute of play. If Münir İdris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necmi Ülkü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Doğanlar having to interfere. Kubat Sarper scored 1-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baybars Doğanlar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. İlyas Tolga Yekta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 82nd playminute. İlyas Tolga Yekta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Aytuğ Yesar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Tibet Enfa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aytuğ Yesar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kubat Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubat Sarper in the 96th minute of play forced Galatasaray FC's goalkeeper Baybars Doğanlar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Galatasaray FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beyazit throughout the match.
