Ümit Sami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Sarikamis's Necip Fazıl İlter got control of the ball when Ümit Sami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ümit Sami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Necip Fazıl İlter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Battal Ehlimen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necip Fazıl İlter having to interfere. Sefa Cambaz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ümit Sami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necip Fazıl İlter having to interfere. The supporters of Maslak booed when Sarikamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürsel Ulusan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demir Ekabir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sefa Cambaz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Semavi Ihlamur struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Celal Seciye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarikamis. Ümit Sami might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Necip Fazıl İlter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ümit Sami ran back to his position shaking his head. Battal Ehlimen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necip Fazıl İlter having to interfere. Sarikamis's Demir Ekabir got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Necip Fazıl İlter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ümit Sami went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the game, one of Sarikamis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Sarikamis booed when Maslak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sefa Cambaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ümit Sami in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Necip Fazıl İlter saved Sarikamis from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Ehlimen in the 81st minute of play forced Sarikamis's goalkeeper Necip Fazıl İlter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ümit Sami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necip Fazıl İlter having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Battal Ehlimen made a precise shot to the right of Necip Fazıl İlter. Sarikamis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Necip Fazıl İlter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ümit Sami in the 98th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarikamis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maslak.
