In the 6th minute, Batuhan Taylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hacı Ali Velican fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 8th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. After a rather tough play, SAKARYA sk's Alişan Akmaner got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 played minutes SAKARYA sk got a freekick which was hit by Alkan Taşkınay. Ayhan Sungun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Göktuğ Tuyan having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, SAKARYA sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil İbrahim Sabri to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Ayhan Sungun made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Göktuğ Tuyan. SAKARYA sk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute, one of CİHANBEYLİ F.K:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CİHANBEYLİ F.K. The referee gave SAKARYA sk a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by İnanç Güler, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CİHANBEYLİ F.K's Fazlı Sebukalp. 1-1. In the 24th match minute, SAKARYA sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güner Resat to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Ercüment Harmancı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAKARYA sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CİHANBEYLİ F.K the free kick. After a rather tough play, SAKARYA sk's Ercüment Harmancı got a free kick in the 28th minute. Fazlı Sebukalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celalettin Oskay in the 39th minute of play. With his leg Fazlı Sebukalp managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when SAKARYA sk's Arkın Akyazıcıoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ataol Kutbay's late challenge caught a SAKARYA sk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ataol Kutbay helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CİHANBEYLİ F.K's Ataol Kutbay got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fazlı Sebukalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celalettin Oskay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erkin Sarduç made a kick off. Fazlı Sebukalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkın Akyazıcıoğlu in the 53rd minute of the match. If Arkın Akyazıcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Göktuğ Tuyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkin Sarduç, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, CİHANBEYLİ F.K's Zülfikar Savtuna got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Arkın Akyazıcıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fazlı Sebukalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, CİHANBEYLİ F.K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataol Kutbay to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes in the game Erkin Sarduç after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Ahmet Göktuğ Tuyan. A very good opportunity. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arkın Akyazıcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAKARYA sk's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkın Akyazıcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fazlı Sebukalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CİHANBEYLİ F.K were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after SAKARYA sk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Berkem Usal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Berkem Usal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ahmet Göktuğ Tuyan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of CİHANBEYLİ F.K booed when SAKARYA sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğuralp Gökyüzü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alkan Taşkınay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkan Taşkınay in the 95th minute of play forced CİHANBEYLİ F.K's goalkeeper Fazlı Sebukalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
