Mehdi Başkur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Ortaköy's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Nunes came free, but Mehdi Başkur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faruk İlcan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Faruk İlcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Ortaköy's goalkeeper Mehdi Başkur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Nunes. Mehdi Başkur was a little too slow when Bican Yaybüke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gazanfer Özcan Tapık in the 84th minute of play forced Vize FK's goalkeeper Amos Coviello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehdi Başkur made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Talat Hicab sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Yaman Taşkesen in the 95th minute really tested Mehdi Başkur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
