Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İslam Nizam made a kick off. İslam Nizam took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nazmi Şeref. Nazmi Şeref dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Bora Han Özyay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baysal Mete in the 56th minute of play. If Hüsamettin Oğuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Karsiyaka FK's goal looked a bit too open when Baysal Mete came free, but Bora Han Özyay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well placed Baysal Mete short distance shot in the 62nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Bora Han Özyay made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Hüsamettin Oğuralp sent off a good shot on target. Nazmi Şeref showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Deniz Özben, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Duncan Callaghan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Han Özyay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, İslam Nizam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
