Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Horasan FK's İhsan Temcit started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enginalp Başbuğ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Ali Kürşat Naşit made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Horasan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu came free, but Yılmaz Ruhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horasan FK's İhsan Temcit got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yedisu's supporters rose to their feet, but Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yılmaz Ruhittin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Horasan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Özgu came free, but Yılmaz Ruhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yılmaz Ruhittin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Enginalp Başbuğ took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ali Kürşat Naşit to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Horasan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Özgu came free, but Yılmaz Ruhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gazanfer Özcan Tuyan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yılmaz Ruhittin having to make a save. Ömer Rıza Özgu might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yılmaz Ruhittin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer Rıza Özgu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ömer Rıza Özgu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Yedisu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Rıza Özgu couldn't finish the play. If Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-2 became the score in the 41st minute when Ömer Rıza Özgu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hayrullah Akkın hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ömer Rıza Özgu to strike the kick off in the second half. Horasan FK's Yılmaz Ruhittin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Rıza Özgu in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yılmaz Ruhittin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Yılmaz Ruhittin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ömer Rıza Özgu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Enginalp Başbuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ali Kürşat Naşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Horasan FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yılmaz Ruhittin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Rıza Özgu in the 80th minute of play. Ömer Rıza Özgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömer Rıza Özgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Ruhittin having to interfere. Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Yılmaz Ruhittin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Batıray Bakkalbaşıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Ruhittin having to interfere. When Bahtiyar İpekçi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yedisu's protests and gave Bahtiyar İpekçi a yellow card for diving instead. Hayrullah Akkın kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
