Thanks to some nice moves Fehmi Onursu could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Yılmaz Ruhittin however easily saved by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Ovacik's Fehmi Onursu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yılmaz Ruhittin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Horasan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abay Sezmen came free, but Yılmaz Ruhittin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fehmi Onursu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when İhsan Temcit made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Horasan FK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ali Asım Alpaslan hit a great ball. If Abay Sezmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Süleyman Teksen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yılmaz Ruhittin. Horasan FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
