After a rather tough play, Yenimahalle SK's Sezgin Vecih got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aygün Çağakan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yılmaz Ruhittin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Horasan FK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gazanfer Özcan Tuyan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enginalp Başbuğ got free with Ahmet Baki Bilgiç in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute İhsan Temcit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Baki Bilgiç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vacid Yunus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Atıf Çidam sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yılmaz Ruhittin skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Atıf Çidam shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yılmaz Ruhittin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sezgin Vecih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Ruhittin having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İhsan Temcit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Yenimahalle SK's Sezgin Vecih dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Yılmaz Ruhittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sezgin Vecih in the 59th minute. Yılmaz Ruhittin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Atıf Çidam. İhsan Temcit kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Sezgin Vecih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horasan FK's Yılmaz Ruhittin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Horasan FK's zone, Aygün Çağakan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yılmaz Ruhittin came out of the goal and Aygün Çağakan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute of the match Atıf Çidam sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yılmaz Ruhittin skillfully saved the ball. Sezgin Vecih who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Yılmaz Ruhittin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Yenimahalle SK's goal looked a bit too open when İhsan Temcit came free, but Ahmet Baki Bilgiç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aygün Çağakan in the 73rd minute of play forced Horasan FK's goalkeeper Yılmaz Ruhittin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Baki Bilgiç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Tuyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yenimahalle SK's Sezgin Vecih got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aygün Çağakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezgin Vecih succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 79th playminute. In the 83rd minute, Vacid Yunus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 86 played minutes, Yenimahalle SK's Atıf Çidam shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yılmaz Ruhittin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yenimahalle SK reached it. Yılmaz Ruhittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabri Oyman in the 88th minute. When Sezgin Vecih, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Yılmaz Ruhittin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 92 played minutes, Yenimahalle SK's Abdurrahim Savaşer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yılmaz Ruhittin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yenimahalle SK reached it. Sabri Oyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabri Oyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yenimahalle SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
