Kamil Kavaş hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Destroyer's Mehmet Ali Özsu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Özbek Tuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ünal Özveri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Beşir Karaalp came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Destroyer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beşir Karaalp couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Özbek Tuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Destroyer's supporters rose to their feet, but Özbek Tuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ünal Özveri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cerkes's Ünal Özveri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beşir Karaalp in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Beşir Karaalp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cerkes's Ünal Özveri. Ünal Özveri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cerkes's Kamil Kavaş got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Deniz Vacip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destroyer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerkes the free kick. A collision led to Destroyer getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Deniz Vacip hit a great ball. Atilla Bumin Değer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halil Utku Riva having to make a save. Birol Orkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Utku Riva having to interfere. Halil Utku Riva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Değer, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Beşir Karaalp came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Destroyer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beşir Karaalp couldn't finish the play. Özbek Tuz took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ünal Özveri. Ünal Özveri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 82 minutes of play Destroyer's Deniz Vacip was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Cerkes booed when Destroyer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deniz Vacip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilla Bumin Değer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Halil Utku Riva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Birol Orkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamil Kavaş struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Halil Utku Riva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
