In the 7th minute, Ata Ayana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Necmettin Lefter managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Hakkari's Onuralp Sayman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Necmettin Lefter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazhar Eraslan in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Mansur Birsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakkari's Abdi Ferikoğlu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Necmettin Lefter but with some difficulty. Hüseyin Cahit Yumus struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Tuncer Akdoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Findikli. Mazhar Eraslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onuralp Sayman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Necmettin Lefter made a huge save. In the 25th minute Mazhar Eraslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmettin Lefter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuncer Akdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Çağrı Canpolat in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Onuralp Sayman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakkari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Onuralp Sayman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Necmettin Lefter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazhar Eraslan's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Necmettin Lefter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onuralp Sayman in the 39th minute. Necmettin Lefter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazhar Eraslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Findikli's zone, Onuralp Sayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necmettin Lefter came out of the goal and Onuralp Sayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hakkari booed when Findikli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mansur Birsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazhar Eraslan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Necmettin Lefter saved Findikli from getting behind.

The wind increased when Ahmet Çağrı Canpolat made the kick off in the second half. Hüseyin Cahit Yumus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tuncer Akdoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Findikli got a freekick which was hit by Şener Hendekli. The audience was convinced that Onuralp Sayman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necmettin Lefter was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Onuralp Sayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necmettin Lefter having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazhar Eraslan in the 66th minute of play forced Findikli's goalkeeper Necmettin Lefter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazhar Eraslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Hakkari's goal looked a bit too open when Mansur Birsoy came free, but Tuncer Akdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Mazhar Eraslan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hakkari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Hakkari's attack was well implemented in the 89th minute, but when Mazhar Eraslan was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazhar Eraslan in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necmettin Lefter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hakkari fans cheered their team off the field, for while Findikli had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
