With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davut Süreyya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Fethi Öztürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baki Kutluay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Seyfi Eroğul made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fethi Öztürk got free with Baki Kutluay in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baki Kutluay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Eroğul, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 78th minute, Ekrem Timurtas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davut Süreyya was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cevahir Oğuzkan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davut Süreyya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baki Kutluay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Seyfi Eroğul showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 89 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekrem Timurtas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davut Süreyya saved Ordu from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ekrem Timurtas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davut Süreyya was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
