Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samet Akyıldız started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sümer Hasankeyf sped through Cekerek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murat Selim Eraslan. 6 minutes into the game, Cekerek's İskender Tokuzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Anıl Sungun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 10 minutes into the game, Soner Yücelay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Murat Selim Eraslan. Soner Yücelay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Samet Akyıldız might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Anıl Sungun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samet Akyıldız ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the game, Tarkan Kahraman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cekerek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ünye SK the free kick. In the 17th minute, Soner Yücelay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Cekerek got a freekick which was hit by Aydın Ankara. Ünye SK's Volkan Akıncı got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Anıl Sungun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cengiz Türcan in the 25th minute of play. With 25 minutes on the clock, Zeynel İlseven commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ünye SK! When Samet Akyıldız got free in front of the goal in the 30th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mehmet Anıl Sungun was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Cekerek's Samet Akyıldız made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Anıl Sungun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murat Selim Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soner Yücelay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When İskender Tokuzer fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cekerek's protests and gave İskender Tokuzer a yellow card for diving instead. İskender Tokuzer kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. With his leg Murat Selim Eraslan managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Ünye SK's Soner Yücelay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Soner Yücelay to strike the kick off in the second half. Muammer Songurhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Murat Selim Eraslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Soner Yücelay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cekerek's Murat Selim Eraslan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Soner Yücelay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murat Selim Eraslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Songur Ayık got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murat Selim Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soner Yücelay in the 71st minute of the match. If Soner Yücelay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Anıl Sungun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Berk Tamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, İskender Tokuzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murat Selim Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soner Yücelay in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çetin Taze during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Cekerek got a freekick which was hit by Çetin Taze. If Soner Yücelay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ünye SK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
