The referee ignored Cayyolu's protests and gave Peker Sargınal a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Cayyolu got a freekick which was hit by Peker Sargınal. When Peker Sargınal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. The supporters of Ünye SK booed when Cayyolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Cayyolu's Ahmet Yahya Özgunay got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Oktay Tun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayyolu's supporters rose to their feet, but Oktay Tun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Anıl Sungun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ünye SK's Mehmet Anıl Sungun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ünye SK from getting a goal against them. Akgün Korur struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mehmet Anıl Sungun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cayyolu. Dilmen Yetkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enver Ergümen in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Dilmen Yetkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soner Yücelay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oktay Tun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Anıl Sungun having to make a save. After some careless play in the Ünye SK defense, Akgün Korur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Anıl Sungun. The Ünye SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Anıl Sungun should have stopped the shot. Akgün Korur hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayyolu's goalkeeper Dilmen Yetkin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Soner Yücelay scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dilmen Yetkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Mehdi Tokyüz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Cayyolu had been in control for most of the match, Ünye SK still came away with the win.
