Wesley Snider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cenk Demir having to make a save. After 19th play minutes Wesley Snider shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Cenk Demir and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, TEXAS SNAKES's Sait Demirkan got control of the ball when Hayati Oğuzkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, TEXAS SNAKES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Kaczeniak to maneuver through the defense. If Bülent Ersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TEXAS SNAKES's Sait Demirkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadıl Ecemiş in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gölcük's zone, Wesley Snider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cenk Demir came out of the goal and Wesley Snider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Hayati Oğuzkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bülent Ersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Demir having to interfere. If Jose Altermatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Altermatt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Altuğ Akçay during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gölcük! Cenk Demir was a little too slow when Wesley Snider got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-5. With a little luck, Gölcük's Cenk Demir got control of the ball when Jose Altermatt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, TEXAS SNAKES's Jose Altermatt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 70th minute, one of Gölcük:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gölcük. In the 75th minute, Aygün Gülerce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bülent Ersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When TEXAS SNAKES's Bülent Ersoy in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gölcük's goalie prevented a goal. Cenk Demir made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jose Altermatt sent off a good shot on target. When Bülent Ersoy came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the TEXAS SNAKES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bülent Ersoy couldn't finish the play. Jose Altermatt struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. The audience was convinced that Bülent Ersoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cenk Demir was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded TEXAS SNAKES left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gölcük.
