Laurence Sulems made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayfur Rukni in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cumhur İstanbullu managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIRIKKALE GÜCÜ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cumhur İstanbullu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Temel Kutlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute Cumhur İstanbullu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Temel Kutlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KIRIKKALE GÜCÜ's Temel Kutlan got a free kick in the 28th minute. KIRIKKALE GÜCÜ's Gökhan Başar got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Battal Erçivan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Hakkı Onur İlkay made the kick off in the second half. Yasin Öztuna made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KIRIKKALE GÜCÜ's Temel Kutlan. 56 minutes into the game, KIRIKKALE GÜCÜ's Temel Kutlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Cumhur İstanbullu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Temel Kutlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tokatspor's Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Temel Kutlan in the 70th minute of play forced Tokatspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Temel Kutlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç. Tokatspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Temel Kutlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Temel Kutlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Temel Kutlan took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç. Mehmet Oğuz Yalavaç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Gökhan Başar came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the KIRIKKALE GÜCÜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökhan Başar couldn't finish the play. If Gökhan Başar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
