Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Resul Taykoç kicked off to start the match. Sultanahmet SK's Sungur Gökekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sultanahmet SK from getting a goal against them. Bülent Pekgöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sungur Gökekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sungur Gökekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resul Taykoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sultanahmet SK's Sungur Gökekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resul Taykoç in the 8th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Harbiye got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Çetiner. In the 15th minute, Bülent Pekgöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denizhan Sargan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nazil Afak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sultanahmet SK's Kuddusî Ungan got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sultanahmet SK's Sungur Gökekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resul Taykoç in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sultanahmet SK's Ahmet Yahya Hafızoğlu got a free kick in the 27th minute. The long shot by Songurhan Günay in the 30th minute really tested Sungur Gökekin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Bülent Pekgöz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Harbiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bülent Pekgöz couldn't finish the play. In the 35thth minute of the game Bülent Pekgöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sultanahmet SK's Sungur Gökekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bülent Pekgöz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sungur Gökekin. Sungur Gökekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper Sungur Gökekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baykan Aksun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Songurhan Günay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sungur Gökekin. Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Resul Taykoç scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sungur Gökekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Songurhan Günay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sungur Gökekin. Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Resul Taykoç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Cüneyt Periz in the 70th minute of play forced Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper Sungur Gökekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denizhan Sargan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Ahmet Yahya Hafızoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sungur Gökekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resul Taykoç in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Bülent Pekgöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungur Gökekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bülent Pekgöz in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sungur Gökekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kuddusî Ungan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sungur Gökekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Resul Taykoç went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Sungur Gökekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Resul Taykoç's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Sultanahmet SK defense, Resul Taykoç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sungur Gökekin. The Sultanahmet SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sungur Gökekin should have stopped the shot. Sultanahmet SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
