Sezer Oğuztan was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Utku Kurtaran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Utku Kurtaran really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aydın Kalgay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demirhan İltemur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alphan Saykut charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alphan Saykut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Utku Kurtaran came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Yildiz JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Utku Kurtaran couldn't finish the play. Hamza Selçuk kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Hayrettin Ortaçgils short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Sezer Oğuztan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Yildiz JK's Hüsrev Apaydın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sezer Oğuztan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Kaptan Korkut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yildiz JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaptan Korkut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hüsrev Apaydın came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Yildiz JK fans jumped to their feet. In the 27th minute Hayrettin Ortaçgil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezer Oğuztan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsrev Apaydın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Sezer Oğuztan made a huge save. The supporters of Yildiz JK booed when ReaL MaRDiN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Selçuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hayrettin Ortaçgil to strike the kick off in the second half. Sezer Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsrev Apaydın in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hayrettin Ortaçgil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yildiz JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hayrettin Ortaçgil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezer Oğuztan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hüsrev Apaydın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaptan Korkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sezer Oğuztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yildiz JK's Utku Kurtaran got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Ortaçgil in the 68th minute of play forced ReaL MaRDiN's goalkeeper Sezer Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hüsrev Apaydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezer Oğuztan having to interfere. Kaptan Korkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sezer Oğuztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezer Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utku Kurtaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind ReaL MaRDiN's goalkeeper Sezer Oğuztan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Yildiz JK booed when ReaL MaRDiN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şeray Tecer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayrettin Ortaçgil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sezer Oğuztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatemi İncirli might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sezer Oğuztan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hatemi İncirli ran back to his position shaking his head. Aydın Kalgay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demirhan İltemur in the 94th minute of the match.
