Thanks to some nice moves Seyfi Oğuzkan could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Afşin Özdurdu however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 25 minutes, Batuhan Hamurcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genclerbirligi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batuhan Hamurcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Laleli JK's Battal Yağıztekin got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Laleli JK got a freekick which was hit by Güney Acartürk. After 31 minutes of play, Genclerbirligi's Seyfi Oğuzkan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mücahit Ruhsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
