In the 9th minute, Bektaş Ali Vahdet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 13th minute Rahmi Sergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Usun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Rahmi Sergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Usun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, SakaryaSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Vişan came free, but Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Iulian Vişan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ediz Yabgu in the 19th minute of play forced FC RedDragonS's goalkeeper Şerif Usun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Iulian Vişan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Rıza Saltukalp in the 22nd minute of play forced FC RedDragonS's goalkeeper Şerif Usun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ertan Abiskanoyan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Iulian Vişan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, FC RedDragonS's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Bülent Utku came free, but Şerif Usun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Yavuz Bülent Utku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerif Usun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SakaryaSpor's Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Abiskanoyan in the 36th minute of play. Şerif Usun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömer Rıza Saltukalp went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ömer Rıza Saltukalp during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Iulian Vişan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ertan Abiskanoyan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı having to make a save. Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FC RedDragonS's Ertan Abiskanoyan. But to his dismay, Ertan Abiskanoyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertan Abiskanoyan to make the kick off. If Amancio Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Yavuz Bülent Utku could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Şerif Usun however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Ömer Rıza Saltukalp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Şerif Usun. Ömer Rıza Saltukalp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After 67 played minutes SakaryaSpor got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Rıfat Yurdaşen. 73 minutes into the match, Iulian Vişan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı. SakaryaSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Vişan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Iulian Vişan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ertan Abiskanoyan's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ertan Abiskanoyan in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı saved SakaryaSpor from getting behind. If Ertan Abiskanoyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Yabgu charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Ediz Yabgu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iulian Vişan scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Ferit Balıkçı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Vişan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mehmet Emin Akbaşak kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In the 101st minute of the match SakaryaSpor got a corner. FC RedDragonS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Rıfat Yurdaşen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Rıfat Yurdaşen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şerif Usun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC RedDragonS fully deserved thier win.
